List-- I'm setting up Samba 3.0.4 on Linux Fedora Core 1. When I try to join the domain from an XP Pro machine (named dunkle), I see the following in the logs: [2004/07/01 10:50:31, 3] smbd/service.c:close_cnum(801) dunkle (192.168.0.98) closed connection to service IPC$ [2004/07/01 10:50:31, 3] smbd/connection.c:yield_connection(69) Yielding connection to IPC$ [2004/07/01 10:50:31, 4] smbd/vfs.c:vfs_ChDir(654) vfs_ChDir to / [2004/07/01 10:50:31, 3] smbd/sec_ctx.c:set_sec_ctx(288) setting sec ctx (0, 0) - sec_ctx_stack_ndx = 0 [2004/07/01 10:50:31, 3] smbd/process.c:timeout_processing(1104) timeout_processing: End of file from client (client has disconnected). [2004/07/01 10:50:31, 3] smbd/server.c:exit_server(611) Server exit (normal exit) It looks like Samba is trying to close a non-existent connection which results in a tdb_delete error. Is that normal or is it a problem in my configuration? Any help would be appreciated. --Dan Meigs
