Hello, I have a samba server 3.04 and it works fine for windows authentication. Now I just got SUSE 9.0 and wanted authentication done via samba. When I enable samba authentication on linux it fails to work and worst more it makes a nasty nobody process for each time I reboot the machine on the Samba server! That nobody process takes up about 20 to 30% cpu. Ouch! Can anyone provide some advice as to what to do, to get Linux Samba authentication to work? Thank you, Dave
