samba - Jan 2004 - Using a domain name in 'hosts allow'?

Dear all,

 

If I use a domain name as an entry for "hosts allow" in SMB.CONF, will
it
cause a huge amount of DNS lookups, or just a couple when a new connection
is made?

Should just be one for the connecting machine (a reverse lookup)
and then a substr comparison.
