samba - Dec 2003 - 2.2.8a admin log parameter

Hi,
I can't find any documentation for this paramter, other than knowing it has
been removed in 3. I can't install 3 yet, so for now I want to know what
this parameter does.

It enables some helpful administrator error logs in
syslog.  It's mostly used in the APPLIANCE_HEAD branch.
