samba - Oct 2003 - What version of LDAP is required for Samba 3.0?

I get the following error using the current openldap, or sunfreeware
package or my own ldap package:

Then compiling bails on me. Perhaps I am using an incorrect version of
Ldap...or I may need the developement version perhaps? Any ideas?
