Hello, I'm trying to backup a Windows machine to a Linux with smbtar. It works - but I as far as I can see - the permissions and file owner .... are not stored!!!! How could I manage something like that ?? I would like to be able to do the backup via a cron-job on the LINUX - so I don`t want to use ntbackup or something like that !!!! Greeting and thanks !!!
