samba - Sep 2003 - error samba-3.0-rc4

Hi:
 Big trubles!!!. I tried to install samba 2.2.8a but the process asked me
for libcups.so.2 . And I just don?t know what to do!!!.

Can sombody explain me what is it?.

PLEASE I NEED HELP ON THIS!!!.

I have a RedHat 7.2 (Enigma) server.

hi. i'm testing samba-3.0-rc4 with ldap(edirectory 8.7.1).
I extended the schema whitout problems.

i'm configure the samba server how a primary domain authtenticating in
the ldap server.
my smb.conf file is here:


workgroup = bla
ldap server = localhost
ldap ssl = no

ldap machine suffix="ou=geral,o=suporte"
ldap suffix = "ou=geral,o=suporte"

but when i try to add the machine in the domain bla, the log files

on my suse box I need the package cups-devel for compile the samba package.
And cups-libs for samba rpm (I do not know if this the same on your box).
