samba - Jul 2003 - Can't join the domain, Samba 3 beta 3

Hi-
Whenever I try to join my domain I get an error message saying "unknown
user
name or bad password" even when I'm typing in the correct password. 
Does
anyone know what this can be?

Have you followed the advice in the Samba-HOWTO-Collection.pdf chapter 7?

I must have been unclear as to what I was doing...I'm trying to get a 
Win2000 workstation to join my Samba domain.   I think my problem is with 
the net groupmap add command not working.  Even after entering it in 
correctly, I get this from a net groupmap list:

Domain Users (S-1-5-21-4274557960-2057765579-945554898-513) -> -1
Users (S-1-5-32-545) -> -1
Domain Admins (S-1-5-21-4274557960-2057765579-945554898-512) -> -1
Domain Guests (S-1-5-21-4274557960-2057765579-945554898-514) -> -1
