I just installed the Samba ver 2.2.8a 64 bit package on a Sun Blade 2000 running Solaris 8. Everything installed OK and then I configured it using SWAT according to the IDEAS 3D software implementation guide and created a share called "/space". The problem is as follows: When I logon to a Windows 2000 or NT client I can see the samba share but when I click on it or try to map a drive to it I get the error shown in the attached SAMBA.doc word file. I have also included the "smb.conf" file and the output of the samba "testparm" command. Dow anyone know what the problem is? <<SAMBA.doc>> <<smb.conf>> <<testparm-out1.txt>> Thank you.
