[Samba] winbindd not working - linux s/390

Hello all,

i'm testing 2.2.4.
it seems winbindd is not working on our system (linux Suse 7.3 s/390)
the config is exactly the same as with 2.2.3a, which worked fine.

from a windows client i can connect to the samba server, and see the shares.
but, once i want to connect to a share, it asks me for a password and won't
accept the correct one. It looks as if winbindd stops working then.
On 2.2.3a he didn't asked for a password and connected nicely.

Also, after a few tries to connect, winbindd will stop with the error:

[Samba] winbindd not working - linux s/390

Marc,

I too am trying to run Samba on s/390 without luck.  I'm getting the exact
same results.  If you're interested in swapping ideas let me know.

us deteremine where the crash is?  Thanks.

Tim was working with me.  Here's the results to the backtrace:

Note: it seems to happen when 'winbindd seperator' is set to '+'

reproduce problem:

Got a positive name query response from 43.206.37.201 ( 43.206.37.173 )
