samba - May 2002 - AW: can't get 2.2.4 release to work

symptoms are also:
smbstatus gives no output.
SWAT status shows connections, one per running smbd, but no mapped shares.

Samba stop, "make revert" and restart Samba 2.2.3a and all is fine.

2nd addition:

I compiled Samba 2.2.4 on Solaris 8 and configured it without winbind, using
"security = server" and it's working fine, no problem yet.

Hi Jerry,

it was my fault, I had to manually copy libnss_winbind.so.2 to /lib, "make
install" didn't do that.
It works now as expected.

Can you reproduce this error with a clean 2.2.4 install (no 
extra patches).
