Hi, I have a problem with my network. When i try to put files to my samba share the process stiops on win98 saying the share was unavailable or has been removed. I can't figure out what the problem is! I can print. I can also put small file to about 20kb. But files bigger than that breake up. Here is my config: [global] workgroup = ARBEITSGRUPPE server string = Samba Server security = SHARE log file = /var/log/samba/%m.log max log size = 0 socket options = iptos_lowdelay tcp_nodelay so_keepalive SO_SNDBUF=8192 SO_RCVBUF=8192 os level = 65 preferred master = True dns proxy = No wins support = Yes guest account = smbuser hosts allow = 192.168.1. printing = lprng [public] the shared folder comment = Im Home Verzeichnis path = /home/public username = smbuser force user = smbuser read only = No write cache size = 50000000 as you can see I tried to improve by using write cache but it happens all the time. I can see on my Redhat 7.2 that the file is there bu it vanishes when i approve the error message in win98 Any ideas whats going wrong? Thanks, Jochen
