samba - Apr 2002 - (no subject)

hello
I am a french computing student i use your samba server and i would like to 
join it to a windows 2000 domain with authentification made by a windows 
2000 server.
I have lot of probleme to do this and i would be very happy if someone of
your team give me some help.
My main probleme is that i can't join the active directory Domain

Hello Matthieu,

I've done a simular thing, putting a samba server in a existing domain,
and I have written a howto about it.

See : http://www.sin.khk.be/~dj/

You'll see that there are 2 ways to join a domain. Also a reboot will help
sometimes.

And if you could proovide some error message and send them to this list
maybe the people here can help you a bit more.
