samba - Apr 2002 - MS-DFS for smbclient?

A long-time works-great application based on smbclient just bit the dust 
because the remote
server is no longer NTFS but is now Win2K and MS-DFS. <grumble>

Is there (or will there be) support for MS-DFS in the smbclient program?

It would be a wonderful addition.  If anyone is interested and has time, 
coordinate the development on samba-technical.
