Hello there, I am running Samba 2.2.2 on a Solaris 8 server. It works great except when users try to save files within Photoshop 6.0. It looks like this application changes the permissions of the file such as the owner is only able to read it and the group and others can read, write an execute. For instance, the following file on the Solaris server: -rw-rw-r-- 1 user staff 449140 Mar 15 00:06 file.tiff will become: -r--rwxrwx+ 1 user staff 449140 Mar 15 00:06 file.tiff once opened and saved by Photoshop... Is somebody willing to shed some light into this behaviour ? Please cc my e-mail address in your feedback as I am not (yet ;-) a member of this distribution list. Anticipated thanks for your kind concern and assistance. Kind regards. Antonio __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
