samba - Feb 2002 - samba-2.2.3a install errors

Hi,

I am brand new to Linux (2 days new), so please forgive me if the answer is
blindingly obvious to the more advanced user :-)

I am trying to install Samba (samba-2.2.3a-20020206.i386.rpm) on Red Hat 7.2
(Kernel 2.4.7-10) using Kpackage 2.2 (Using KDE 2.2-11)

I keep getting this message

Found 0 source and 1 binary packages
rpmdepCheck() failed.

As far as I can tell all my dependent files are > or = what I need.

Any Ideas?

Hi Richard,

I don't do KDE, but if you want to open a terminal window...

Type: rpm -qa | grep samba
you should see three files listed: samba-common*, samba-server*, and 
samba-client*

If your search brings up no results, skip ahead.
If your search brought up the above,
Type: rpm -e samba (this will delete all existing samba rpms.

Now, type: rpm -ivh samba-2.2.3a-20020206.i386.rpm

The package should install without protest. If not, email back the error 
you get.
