samba - Dec 2001 - Access lists

I searched tha archives on this and found only an ancient (1998)
message... The books I've read say it can't be done (yet).

I'd like to set up some shares on Win95 and Win98 boxes with
domain level security. To do that normally, an 'Access list' is 
needed, and that doesn't work (yet).

Q1) Has this changed, and if not, how soon is this likely to
    change?

Q2) What do I need to do fake this using regedit?

This works in 2.2.2 (minus on small enumeration bug
which will be fixed for 2.2.3).
