Hi, I've set up a Samba server accessed by NTWS 4. When I do a "ps aux" on the server, i can see a line for each user connected with a "smbd -D" command. The owners of these commands are mostly root but sometimes the users themselves. How to force the owner of the command in order to be available to get a list of connected users with an "ps aux" and an "awk" statement ? Thanks, ionel ___________________________________________________________ Nokia 5510 Dr?le de look... et quel son ! Check out the "smbstatus" command, probably better to use that I would think. - Kris Jordan - Ionel GARDAIS wrote:>Hi, > >I've set up a Samba server accessed by NTWS 4. > >When I do a "ps aux" on the server, i can see a line >for each user connected with a "smbd -D" command. > >The owners of these commands are mostly root but >sometimes the users themselves. > >How to force the owner of the command in order to be >available to get a list of connected users with an "ps >aux" and an "awk" statement ? > >Thanks, >ionel > >___________________________________________________________ >Nokia 5510 Dr?le de look... et quel son ! >Cliquez sur http://fr.promotions.yahoo.com/nokia/ >D?couvrez-le et tentez votre chance pour en gagner un ! >Fin du concours le 16 d?cembre. >
