samba - Nov 2001 - Hmm. Silly(ish) question re: winbind

Hmm...I've never tried it with a local user and a domain group.  I've
certainly done stuff like:

chown DOMAIN+David:"DOMAIN+Domain Users" *

and had it work before...

I know that winbindd allows Samba to authenticate to the domain(s) on one's 
network... but I do have a question...

If I want to change the owner of a file to (say) me and DOMAIN+Domain 
Admins, is there a way to do that? I tried:

chown ges:DOMAIN+Domain\ Admins * and was told that:
chown: DOMAIN+Domain Admins: illegal group name

Just curious... :)

Odd. I tried it that way:

ges@ricky:~/test# chown CORP+ges:"CORP+Domain Admins" test1
chown: CORP+Domain Admins: illegal group name

Then I tried this:

ges@ricky:~/test# chown CORP+ges *
chown: CORP+ges: illegal user name

hmm.. When I do wbinfo -ug I get everything in the list... Hmm.

Oddness.

Any ideas?
