samba - Nov 2001 - session request to *SMBSERVER failed (Not listening for calling name)

can someone please tell me how to troubleshoot this (i didn't find anything 
informative in the log files)?

if (duane.douglas) { technologies = asp && php && cgi_perl
&& cold fusion
&& xml && xsl && xsd && sql server &&
mysql && javascript }

Without any other information (client, server versions; operation being
performed) it sounds like a name resolution/WINS problem. Try going thru the
steps in DIAGNOSIS.TXT to see if/where a failure occurs.
