I'm new to samba and I hope I'm sending this to the right e-mail
address.
While running the "make" I received two errors during the compile of
modules
belonging to smbd and two other errors in modules belonging to winbindd. The
console list is included. I tried running it anyway and was able to
successfully run all the tests in DIAGNOSIS.txt until test 8 "net view
BIGSERVER" at which point I get :
System error 5 has occurred
Access is denied
Are the compile error related to this ?
Environment:
Solaris 2.8 Patch level (08/1 or 09/1 I think)
gcc 2.95.3
samba 2.2.2
hardware - Netblazer 100
Win 2000 workstation
