Hi, I just installed samba in Linux (kernel 2.4.9), and despite the fact that I allowed all traffic from 172.16.2., I get an error when I try to map a drive from Windows 2000 (ip 172.16.2.115). The error reads: "The account is not authorized to log on from this station" What does this mean? What do I have to change in smb.conf to authorize this, if not 'hosts allow'? I'm also seeing errors in log.smb, I don't know if it's related: [timestamp] lib/util_sock.c:set_socket_options(151) Failed to set socket option SO_KEEPALIVE (Error Bad file descriptor) [timestamp] lib/util_sock.c:set_socket_options(151) Failed to set socket option TCP_NODELAY (Error Bad file descriptor) [timestamp] lib/util_sock.c:set_socket_options(151) Failed to set socket option SO_RCVBUF(Error Bad file descriptor) [timestamp] lib/util_sock.c:set_socket_options(151) Failed to set socket option SO_SNDBUF (Error Bad file descriptor) Thanks, John __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
