samba - Oct 2001 - smbpasswd file flags

Can anyone tell me what the "X" flag in the smbpasswd file does???
ie:
bob:600:xxxxxx:xxxxxx:[UX         ]:etcetc

Do not expire the password (ever).   Although password expiry is
unimplemented in release version of Samba .
