samba - Oct 2001 - Printing question revisited

Hi all,
    I am reading the samba howto and need to ask: when you are adding
the sub directories of print$ for the supported architecture, is that in
the smb.conf or in the path of print$ ( /usr/local/samba/printer) ? I
hope this makes sense.
