-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all. I've a problem on a RH 6.2 server, with 2.2.19 kernel patched with reiserfs 3.5.34, running samba 2.2.0 I found the following in the log: Sep 26 16:13:47 pippo smbd[13963]: Invalid packet length! (130899 bytes). Sep 26 16:13:58 pippo smbd[15206]: [2001/09/26 16:13:58, 0] smbd/oplock.c:receive_local_message(126) Sep 26 16:13:58 pippo smbd[15206]: receive_local_message. Error in recvfrom. (Connection refused). Sep 26 16:13:58 pippo smbd[15206]: [2001/09/26 16:13:58, 0] smbd/oplock.c:request_oplock_break(1016) Sep 26 16:13:58 pippo smbd[15206]: request_oplock_break: error in response received to oplock break request to pid 13963 on port 1265 for dev = 809, inode = 34729, tv_sec = 3bb1e29b, tv_usec = fb77 At the same time, I was unable to access some files on that share. Restarting samba solved the problem even though as you can easily imagine this is not an option... I understand this could be an hardware or configuration issue, however, any hint would be greatly appreciated... Bye Marco - -- Marco Bizzarri - Responsabile Tecnico - Icube S.r.l.
