Hi, I've been run samba-2.0.9 on Linux Red Hat 6.2. I could access file between Linux and Win-9x, But I can't connect NT via Linux (use SMBCLIENT and SMBMOUNT). when I used these command it ask me a password, so I tried many password of NT Administrator login name, add username root in NT. it still cannot acces NT disk by command on Linux. Please help me. SF
Hi there. Have you tried to supply parameter such as : "-o username=<username_on_nt_" while executing smbmount ? Please try the above parameter. It works many times on my Linux(Samba) box VS NT Shared Directory.
