samba - Sep 2001 - Cannot see server in NetNbhd

Hi,
       i am trying to set up samba on my linux machine and access shares via a
Win 95 machine. Have followed all instructions in the book. But the samba server
just won't show up in the Network Neighbourhood. Both the computers are
using DHCP. I am able to access shares from the same machine where Ithe Samba
server is running using smbclient. Please help.
