hi,all i am using samba these days i download the source(samba.version.tar.gz) then i run this #configure --prefix=/usr/local/samba #make #make install then i copy the smb.conf to /usr/local/samba/lib and then i run /usr/local/samba/sbin/smbd -D /usr/local/samba/sbin/nmbd -D it isn't any error message but i can't find it is running and port 139 is not listened what should i do help me thank u i like linux!
