samba - Sep 2001 - Office 2000 and Oplocks

Is it advisable to have oplocks on or off when running it from a share on
Samba 2.2.1a?

Note, this will have at lease 100 clients.

If you want flashy interfaces and to spend lots of money, try Windows 2000.
If you want it to work use FreeBSD

I would suggest 'oplocks = yes' unless you experience problems.
Note that we have several major fixes for oplocks in
the soon to be 2.2.2 release.  You will probably want to upgrade
once it is released.
