Is it advisable to have oplocks on or off when running it from a share on Samba 2.2.1a? Note, this will have at lease 100 clients. Regards Benjamin Hutton IT Officer Bunbury Catholic College If you want flashy interfaces and to spend lots of money, try Windows 2000. If you want it to work use FreeBSD

Note that we have several major fixes for oplocks in the soon to be 2.2.2 release. You will probably want to upgrade once it is released. cheers, jerry --------------------------------------------------------------------- samba.org SAMBA Team jerry_at_samba.org plainjoe.org jerry_at_plainjoe.org --"I never saved anything for the swim back."
