Running 2.06 on rh 6.1. I've got a couple of samba servers here. One works flawlessly. The other occasionally (every 3 or 4 weeks) will not renew it's name in the WINS database. The only difference I can find is that the problem one is on a different subnet than the WINS server (an NT box). When I look at the WINS db, the lease for the samba server is showing as released (-). A smb restart fixes the problem immediately. Anyone else have an idea why this keeps happening?
