samba - Feb 2000 - [2.0.7pre1] PDC.ACADIAU.CA rejected the session for name *SMBSERVER.

When trying to authenticate, I'm getting the above error in my
log.<client> file on the samba server ... have checked the list archives,
and can't find any real answer, but some related questions ...

I'm still searching for an answer in teh docs, but if anyone has an idea,
I'm open :)
