I am setting up my first production Samba/Linux server and so far I have
not found equivalent settings for Novell's ROS and RWS flags.
I guess it's some combination of:
share modes ( "NEVER" to be turned off)
ole locking ( safe for Linux?)
blocking locks
fake oplocks ( should be off? )
locking ( "should never need to set this" )
oplocks
strict locking ( off? )
So far the performance seems more than adequate and I hope for great
things for Samba.
Any help much appreciated.
