samba - Dec 1998 - WinNT Profiles on samba server?

Hi,

in DOMAIN.txt of 1.9.18p7 there is the following comment:

Is this a general problem of WinNT-samba? Has any newer samba (perhaps 2.0)
fixed this behaviour? I'd like to stick with plaintext passwords, yet still
move the profiles to the Unix home directories.

The issue is due to NT and not Samba.  Sorry.  You must 
use encrypted apsswords to get NT roaming profiles to be 
loaded from a Samba share.
