Hi all, sorry about the samba newbie question, but.. where is pidfile for the smbd processes that are currently running? I know smbstatus, but it reports the number of current connections ( I think) which is one less than a ps -ef smbd (or equivalent) outputs. Basically, I am looking at a script to kill all smbd and the nmbd processes. Unfortunately, O/S is solaris, and I don't have the linux 'killall' command (well, I do, but I do not want to kill the entire system. Thanks for any tips, Ian
