Hi all, First of all I am running (SunOS 5.5.1 Generic May 1996). My questions are about the Makefile. (1) Line 145 - WHICH OPERATING SYSTEM? If I uncomment one of the lines, what variable must I use. (2) If I don't uncomment the above then I get an error when running make. "./smb.h", line 1423: major: argument mismatch "./smb.h", line 1424: minor: argument mismatch "./smb.h", line 1423: syntax error before or at: int "./smb.h", line 1423: warning: syntax requires ";" after last struct/union member "./smb.h", line 1432: zero-sized struct/union "./smb.h", line 1432: cannot recover from previous errors *** Error code 10 make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `util.o' If I delete these lines then I can run make. Should these lines be deleted? I am still having inconsistent nr of files backed up. I have shares on Win95 pcs that I need to backup. I have enabled wins resolution and my primary and secondary servers are the same, else I won't save the enable wins resolution. I am running smbclient '\\chuck\c' -N -Tc tar.out "\my documents" "\windows\desktop" "\windows\start menu". Every time I run the above command I receive different nr of files backed up. This is what my smb.conf file looks like. workgroup = VERANG [homes] read only = No guest ok = yes [workfiles] path = /app1/sag/batch/prd/workfiles read only = No guest ok = yes valid users = chuck, brendan, peter, deon [root] comment = Root Files path = / valid users = chuck, brendan, peter, deon [global] wins support = yes wins proxy = yes domain master = yes local master = yes preferred master = yes os level = 65 debug level = 0 deadtime = 15 share modes = yes socket options = TCP_NODELAY SO_KEEPALIVE security = user Please can someone help???????
