Hi everyone, I'm running samba-1.9.17alpha4 on redhat Linux 4.2, I have it setup up with "wins support = yes". Now if understand the doc. correctly, anybody who configures their Windows with my IP adress as the WINS server will be able to see each other, is this correct? The wins.dat file contains the names of everyone and their IP adresse's, but we cannot see each other. Does anyone know why this is ?? Thanks in advance. Marc Heckmann
