rsync - Jan 2009 - rsync invalid tag error

Hi,

Please let me know what what could be the cause of below error:

ERROR: DoRsync(): rsync had errors or failed
       rsync return code: 12
    unexpected tag -7
    rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(469)
    rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (3941538 bytes read so far)
    rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(189)
