rsync - Aug 2003 - problems with volume sync with red hat 9

Dear All,


I?m trying to sync two ext3 filesystems on a single red hat 9 host with the
following command: /usr/bin/rsync -ax /data/raid/ /data/raid_kopie.

This should work, because it worked on lots of sun stations, where I installed
it before. Unfortunately the process exits with:

rsync error: partial transfer (code 23) at main.c (578)

Any suggestions?

Buy yourself a \r key so your emails will have reasonable
line lengths.

Run it again, perhaps with -v and look for other, more
informative, error messages.
