The user can still click on a provider icon and signup rightthere. It is better to offload authentication to the main stream sites. I don''t see a reason for providing a fifth wheel :). Let''s face it. No one wants to fill out another registration form and compromise their password or worst remember yet another password.> Something to consider. > > -- > Hassan Schroeder ------------------------ hassan.schroeder-Re5JQEeQqe8AvxtiuMwx3w@public.gmane.org > twitter: @hassan > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "Ruby on Rails: Talk" group. > To post to this group, send email to rubyonrails-talk-/JYPxA39Uh5TLH3MbocFF+G/Ez6ZCGd0@public.gmane.org > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > rubyonrails-talk+unsubscribe-/JYPxA39Uh5TLH3MbocFF+G/Ez6ZCGd0@public.gmane.org > For more options, visit this group at > http://groups.google.com/group/rubyonrails-talk?hl=en. > >-- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Talk" group. I''d love to see some A/B testing on task abandonment using the two approaches, but in the absence of it I''ll remain skeptical about the use of this across the board.
