I am really disappointed that rails 3.0 have a problem, big issue with mysql2. I googled and surprised that none of the ruby core developers mentioning this problem at least telling to people about this issue and solution to this problem. Is there anybody who can tell what is going on? Thanks -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Talk" group. I solved the problem - libmysqlclient-dev package should be installed. After that run the command: rvm 1.9.2-head gem install mysql2 On Wed, Sep 8, 2010 at 10:22 PM, ALISHER ULUGBEKOV <ulugbekov-Re5JQEeQqe8AvxtiuMwx3w@public.gmane.org>wrote:> I am really disappointed that rails 3.0 have a problem, big issue > with mysql2. > I googled and surprised that none of the ruby core developers > mentioning this problem > at least telling to people about this issue and solution to this > problem. > > Is there anybody who can tell what is going on? > Thanks > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "Ruby on Rails: Talk" group. > To post to this group, send email to rubyonrails-talk-/JYPxA39Uh5TLH3MbocFF+G/Ez6ZCGd0@public.gmane.org > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > rubyonrails-talk+unsubscribe-/JYPxA39Uh5TLH3MbocFFw@public.gmane.org<rubyonrails-talk%2Bunsubscribe-/JYPxA39Uh5TLH3MbocFFw@public.gmane.org> > . > For more options, visit this group at > http://groups.google.com/group/rubyonrails-talk?hl=en. > >-- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Talk" group.
