Rails - Oct 2009 - l18n errors

Hi everybody,

I followed the instructions on http://guides.rubyonrails.org/i18n.html  
exspesly point 2.2 and I couldn''t get it to work properly. After I  
decided to disable it, my whole application crashed and no View or  
Controller is working. Any suggestions on this error?

syntax error on line 140, col 13: ` H�  4�   �  

The snippet at the bottom is the last call on the stack.
	def YAML.load( io )
		yp = parser.load( io )
	end
