Rails - Oct 2009 - rake has time limit?

I''m getting: rake aborted! execution expired.
Is it because my rake task takes a long time to complete?
Is there a way to get around this?

I think, start the rake task as a daemon process should work, any
other way?

Can you start by telling use what you''re trying to do within your
rake task and provide any supporting code so that we can better
assist you?

rake command --trace might be able to tell you.
