Rails - Sep 2007 - HELP...error installing plugins,plugin not found,even with rapt

ruby script\\plugin install [...url...]

whenever i try to installl a plugin in my root directory an error is
as:-

plugin not found:-["http://svn.techno....."]

ocurs

with rapt it is as

please give the naswer guyz i m with it now from last five days and
not able to enjoy ruby efficiently.....................


hanks dear but when i tried it from repo browser and tyeped the url of
plugin it gives me the tree but doesnt give the plugin it doesnt
installl that...means if we repo the url

http://svn.techno-weenie.net/projects/plugins/acts_as_authenticated

then
http://svn.techno-weenie.net......project........plugins........act_as_authenticated


opens but there is no file in act_as_authenticated.......if i desire
to see wats in d folder it gives me the following error....
error:* propfind request failde on ''/projects/plugins/
act_as_authenticated...........
could not resolve the hostname''svn.technoweenie.net''

the locsl server does not respond to an authoriative server.......

i have also repo browser the svn  but even it is not giving me the
perfect answer....and giving me the error as propfine request failed
