Rails - Sep 2007 - can emails be read from spiders if they are embedded in a ruby .rhtml file?

Hello,

I am new to ruby, but used php a little bit before. I used php for my
contact formular so nobody spider could read the email. But can a
spider read my email if its included in a rhtml file or is there a way
to encrypt the email?
