Hi all, Hoping somebody can shed some light on this for me, haven''t been able to find any posts anywhere about similar problems. I was trying to install the ferret gem under locomotive. I opened the terminal through locomotive so it had the correct paths set, and ran "sudo gem install ferret". This is the error I received: Building native extensions. This could take a while... ERROR: While executing gem ... (Gem::Installer::ExtensionBuildError) ERROR: Failed to build gem native extension. ruby extconf.rb install ferret creating Makefile make sh: line 1: make: command not found Gem files will remain installed in /Applications/Locomotive2/Bundles/ rmagickRailsJan2007_x86.locobundle/framework/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/ ferret-0.11.3 for inspection.
