I like it when companies make postings like that. Makes it real easy to sort out who might be worth working for. That''s precisely what i dont want. Well i am getting RoR with 2yrs + experience. This requirement is really flexible hence won''t mind screening a candidate with a good resume and RoR knowledge even if the experience does not match. -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Talk" group. Rails did have a long 0.x period. I started playing with Rails around 0.7, released in late 2004, and was employed as a Rails developer for 0.9.x, released January 2005. There was a bit of a community, even then. Two years experience is about the maximum, but it''s not exactly unheard of. http://rubyforge.org/frs/?group_id=307 for gem release dates. -Kyle --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Talk" group. I started using it full time once I read the Rolling on Rails article at onlamp http://www.onlamp.com/pub/a/onlamp/2005/01/20/rails.html Luckily I made the decision for which technologies I used :) That was January 2005 - Chris --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Talk" group.
