Rails - Feb 2007 - how to make older rails application work on newer rails vers

Hi i have one application which is built in rails 1.1.4
version,currently installed version on my system is version 1.2.2 ,it is
not working,giving some errors.Do i need any special steps to follow to
make it working ?
any help would be greatly apreciated.
