After changing some ownerships in my rails app directory to try to get Radrails to work I''m getting the following error when I try to run any rails app: [Thu Apr 06 22:16:01 2006] [alert] [client 127.0.0.1] (13)Permission denied: FastCGI: failed to connect to (dynamic) server "/var/rails/tutorial/public/dispatch.fcgi": something is seriously wrong, any chance the socket/named_pipe directory was removed?, see the FastCgiIpcDir directive [Thu Apr 06 22:16:01 2006] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] FastCGI: incomplete headers (0 bytes) received from server "/var/rails/tutorial/public/dispatch.fcgi" I know this has to do with perms but I''m not sure where to start. Can someone help with the "socket/named_pipe" message? I particularly don''t like the "something is seriously wrong" part. I''m afraid while doing some experimental ownership changes I''ve recursively changed ownership of something I shouldn''t have. I think I may have really stepped in it this time.
