You can setup your MTA to send bounces to a specific user which forwards to
ActionMailer. From there, you can usually extract useful information from
the bounce message and handle it as you need from within your application.
In my case, I needed to track individual messages, so I added a header on
the outgoing message which I could use to identify it should it bounce.
