Re: SCGI, request.xhr problem
Hi Max, First off, I''ve only heard people mention the problem in Apache. Second, the problem was actually with the mod_scgi Apache module. Third, it is solved if you get the latest mod_scgi source from CVS and rebuild from there. Curt Hibbs put up some pre-compiled modules for Win32 which I''m hosting at http://www.zedshaw.com/downloads/scgi_rails/ Let me know if that all works for you. Zed A. Shaw http://www.zedshaw.com/> hi, > i just wanted to ask if the request.xhr problem is resolved? Hi Zed, I would love to checkout the latest code from CVS or SVN. But after 20min auf googling for the server i could not find the public svn server. (only found svn.mems-exchange.org, but i cannot login in as anonymous) Maybe I am just blind, or could you give me another hint? max On 17.10.2005, at 19:17, zedshaw-dd7LMGGEL7NBDgjK7y7TUQ@public.gmane.org wrote:> Hi Max, > > First off, I''ve only heard people mention the problem in Apache. > Second, > the problem was actually with the mod_scgi Apache module. Go to the link Zed gave above. Its not CVS, its just a download directory. There are two zip files, one fore apache1 and one for apache2, each contains a mod_scgi.so that is suuposed to fix the AJAX problems. Hi Curt, I thought that the files provided by zed are those for win32. but i tried to use the apache2 mod_scgi.so but i get an "invalid ELF header" error. max On 17.10.2005, at 21:26, Curt Hibbs wrote:> Go to the link Zed gave above. Re: SCGI, request.xhr problem
Hey, You have to check it out from the mod_scgi project, not from me. The compiled binaries are for Win32 NOT linux. I''ll see if I can grab it and put the source on my site. The fixed source is here: http://arctrix.com/nas/scgi/src/ Curt On 10/17/05, zedshaw-dd7LMGGEL7NBDgjK7y7TUQ@public.gmane.org <zedshaw-dd7LMGGEL7NBDgjK7y7TUQ@public.gmane.org> wrote:> > Hey, > > You have to check it out from the mod_scgi project, not from me.
